Technical Capability and Quality

Daltron Forge has highly skilled technical department with the ability to design and develop various shaped components to customer requirements.

Pace Sorting Machine:

With the increasing use of automatic assembly systems, it is essential to have excellent quality fasteners.
The PACE Optical Inspection Machine guarentees 100% quality and up to 1300 parts per minute can be inspected.

In Process Control:

A "Statistical Process Control" system is implemented to control significant characteristcs within set limits of quality requirements.

Batch Traceability:

This system allows for all products to be tracked back to raw material supply.

Manufacturing Capabilities:

Our Range Covers from 6 to 33mm in diameter with strength grades from 4.6 to 12.9 Imperial products from 1/4 inch to 1 1/4 inch in diameter with applicable strength grades.

Quality:

Daltron Forge's "Total Quality Management System" guarantees our reliability and professionalism.

Daltron Forge is a certified holder of ISO/TS16949 certification.

History

The company started off as National Bolts and changed to Nedschroef Johannesburg, which was then bought out by the Daltron Group and renamed Daltron Forge in July 2009.
The main focus was the supply of fasteners to the local and European automotive manufacturers.

Daltron Forge expanded their market in cold forging and now covers a range of mining, rail and construction products. Daltron Forge develops products for the Automotive markets including OEM’s, General Automotive, Truck, Mining, Construction and Railway industry, providing various fasteners and specialized components to the South African and Export markets.

As a world class manufacturer, Daltron Forge is a market leader in South Africa with the ability to produce according to standard and commercial requirements, as well as complex components, as directed by an ever increasing technological world market. All processes including heat treatment and surface finishes are carried out in-house.
